Abstrak
Ang pananaliksik ay nakatuon sa pagbuo ng mga suplementaryong worksheet para sa Filipino 6. Ito ay nakapokus sa mga kasanayang hindi gaanong natutunan ng mga mag-aaral mula sa Most Essential Learning Competencies (MELCs) ng asignaturang Filipino 6. Gamit ang metodolohiyang Research and Development (R&D), sinunod ng mananaliksik ang mga pangunahing yugto sa pagpaplano, pagpapa-unlad at balidasyon upang makabuo ng kagamitang pampagtuturo. Apat na instrumento ng ebalwasyon ang ginamit: hinangong pagsusulit mula sa PROJECT SMART ng DepEd upang matukoy ang mga kasanayang hindi gaanong natutunan ng mga mag-aaral; hangong instrumento mula rin sa DepEd upang masuri ang kalidad ng dimensyon ng mga worksheet; hangong tseklist upang sukatin ang pagiging katanggap-tanggap ng mga nabuong worksheets; at tseklist upang sukatin ang pagtanggap ng mga mag-aaral. Ang pagsusuri ng datos gamit ang mean score ay matutunghayan na ang mga worksheets ay may mataas na balidasyon sa iba-ibang dimensyon, kabilang ang kawastuhan ng nilalaman, porma at teknikal na disenyo, presentasyon, organisasyon, at napapanahong impormasyon. Tinaya rin ng mga mag-aaral at guro ang mga worksheet bilang lubhang katanggap-tanggap na mga suplementaryong kagamitan. Batay sa mga natuklasan, inirerekomenda na maaaring gamitin ng mga gurong Filipino sa Baitang 6 ang mga balidong worksheet na ito sa kanilang pagtuturo. Hinihikayat din ang mga paaralan na suportahan ang patuloy na pagpapaunlad ng mga suplementaryong kagamitan upang higit pang mapabuti ang mga kasanayan ng mga mag-aaral.

Development and Validation of Supplementary Worksheets in Filipino 6
This study focused on developing supplementary worksheets for Filipino Grade 6, targeting the least learned competencies identified within the Most Essential Learning Competencies (MELCs). Using the Research and Development (R&D) methodology, the researcher followed the key planning, development, and validation phases to create learning materials. Four evaluation instruments were employed: a teacher-made test adopted from PROJECT SMART to identify LLCs; an adopted evaluation tool from DepEd to assess the worksheets’ dimensional quality; an adapted checklist for Grade 6 Filipino teachers to gauge acceptability; and modified student evaluation checklist to measure learner acceptance. Data analysis using mean scores revealed that the worksheets demonstrated high validity across multiple dimensions, including content accuracy, format and technical design, presentation, organization, and currency of information. Teachers and students also rated the worksheets as highly acceptable supplementary materials. From these results, it is suggested that Grade 6 Filipino teachers may use the validated worksheets into their instruction. Schools are also encouraged to support the ongoing development of supplementary resources to further improve student learning outcomes.
