Abstract

This descriptive qualitative study explored the experiences of ten Grade 11 students at a private Catholic school in Davao City regarding the FAITH intervention, a program targeting spiritual growth. Data collected from in-depth interviews revealed that the Faithfulness, Trust, and Holiness components were highly impactful. Activities like journaling, mentorship, and faith-sharing successfully strengthened the students’ connection with God and fostered moral virtues. Conversely, the Adherence and Involvement components were deemed less effective due to short durations, limited practical application, and restricted personal reflection time. Overall, participants found the FAITH intervention highly beneficial for their spiritual, emotional, and moral development. To maximize the program’s effectiveness, the study recommends extending the duration of activities, integrating more practical life applications, and allocating dedicated time for individual reflection.
